Children and adults with an un-repaired cleft condition live with unimaginable emotional and physical suffering, so I’ve teamed up with Operation Smile United Kingdom to help provide free surgeries. To do this, I’ve signed myself up to take part in races and marathons throughout the year.
The target was to do 365km in 2019, and to date, I’ve completed 342.6km:
- Heaton half marathon x2 = 42.2km
- Liverpool half marathon = 21.1km
- Wilmslow half marathon = 21.1km
- Gregynog marathon = 42.2km
- Manchester half marathon = 21.1km
- Liverpool marathon = 42.2km
- Didsbury Park run = 5km
- Oldham half marathon = 21.1km
- Swinsty Reservoir marathon = 42.2km
- Hell of a Hill marathon = 42.2km
- Sheffield half marathon = 21.1km
- Birmingham half marathon = 21.1km
I’m planning to do the last 22.4km this month so watch this space!
